Taunton student crowned Prom Model.

A student from Taunton has just been crowned Izzi Stockton Prom Model for 2017.

Izzi Stockton Bridal, located on Bridge Street Taunton has been running a prom model competition over the last few months in association with one of their designers, Tiffany’s Designer Dresses.

The competition was open to all year 11 girls and the final five girls were Charlotte Evans, who was the overall winner, Emily Garland, Holly Govier, Alice Jones and Esme White.

Each girl got the opportunity to have a professional photo shoot at Hutton Studios wearing a Tiffany Designer prom dress.

The girls also had an interview at the Riverside café in front of five judges as well as having to walk down a catwalk.

The judges were photographer Max Hutton from Hutton Studios, South West Area Manager of Top Shop & Top Man – Theresa Furnish, Co-owner of Tony & Guy hairdressers – Karen Alba-Higgins, Bridgwater and Taunton College Technical Demonstrator – Merry Roberts and Jo Middleton, creator of the award-winning lifestyle blog Slummy Single Mummy.

Charlotte will represent Izzi Stockton Bridal at the National Miss Prom UK final in April, with the event taking place in Brighton.

Charlotte, 15 from Trull said “I am so thrilled to have won Izzi Stockton prom model final and I can’t wait to represent Izzi in the National final. This is such an exciting opportunity as I have always been interested in fashion”

Emily Garland, 16 who came second will also be representing Izzi Stockton at the National final said “Entering the competition was such a fun experience and everyone was so warming which made it feel so special. I’m a very lucky to have shared it with all the girls”

The overall winner of Miss Prom Model UK will be given the exciting opportunity to model for Tiffany’s Designer Dresses. They will also appear in their brochure and website. The winner will also model for them at the biggest bridal trade show in Harrogate, Yorkshire in September 2017.

Izzi Stockton said “All five finalists did so well under pressure of performing and be interviewed by five strangers. We are all so proud of them and are really looking forward to going to the National final and supporting Charlotte and Emily in Brighton, it will be great fun and a fabulous experience for them both”.

As well as Tiffany Designer prom dresses, Izzi Stockton also stocks Manon, Mascara, Eternity and Goya prom dresses, from size 0-24.
