Starting in April 2023, in partnership with Sound Vision we will be launching the Taunton Sound Academy. This free-to-attend course will take you on a journey to have your voice heard, your way, and live on ToneFM whilst also learning how to become a broadcaster!
WHAT IS THE SOUND ACADEMY AND WHAT’S INCLUDED
The Taunton Sound Academy is a free 12-week course which takes place at the ToneFM Studios, in Taunton Town Centre, every Saturday from 11 am until 2 pm (Starting in early May)
Over the course of the 12 weeks of the course, the training team will take you through all skills you will need to work as part of a team that will eventually produce four one-hour live shows on ToneFM, and on completion the presentation of a Bronze Art Award.
This will include training in; Presentation, Content Creation, Producing, Digital Editing, Journalism, Interviewing and more.
CAN YOU APPLY?
As long as you are aged 13-18 years old, and live in the Taunton area you are welcome to apply. Our only stipulation is that if you apply, you must be able to commit to attending the whole course to ensure the award of the Bronze Art Award is complete.
