ROLE AT TONE FM: Presenter of the Martin Smith Rock Revolution
STUFF YOU LIKE DOING: Love walking, the outdoors, travelling and listening to music, especially Rock and Americana. Have loved the medium of radio ever since I was a kid and influences (kids you may need to Google these) are Kenny Everitt, Adrian Juste, John Peel, Bob Harris and of course Terry Wogan!
MOST EMBARRASSING MOMENT: After a works lunch of beverage tasting I had to leave early and needed too visit the gents. The nearest loos being those of Debenhams. Anyway I went upstairs and into the toilet area on the left. Filled my requirements and went too wash my hands when I looked around and thought, how strange? The toilet area was full of women! Well before the obvious penny dropped I went further and complained to the desk downstairs that the gents had loads of women using it? it was a couple of days later shopping in town that I happened to need the same facilities and noticed the signs and women’s was on the left, gents on the right!
