A woman was rescued today (May 1st) by Emergency services from the River Tone.
The incident happened at 05.24 on Bridge Street.
Two Fire Engines from Taunton and a specialist rescue team from Bridgwater were sent to a report of a person in the water.
On arrival crews confirmed one female was in the water next to a pontoon. Crews rescued the woman and handed her over to Ambulance crews who were also on scene.
