Witnesses sought after burglary at self storge facility

Avon and Somerset Police are appealing for witnesses following a burglary at a self-storage facility in the Bathpool area of Taunton.

The premises are on a business park off Bridgwater Road, which lies adjacent to the A358 dual carriageway into Taunton.

The incident happened overnight between 5pm on 2 September and 7.15am on 3 September.

High value industrial tools – including a disc-cutter, drills and a jack hammer – were taken.

A spokesperson commented; “We’d like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time of the burglary who may have seen any vehicles.”
