Avon & Somerset Police are appealing for witnesses following an allegation of racial abuse at a football match in Taunton.
It happened on 23rd February during Farnborough Town’s visit to Taunton Town at the Viridor Stadium in Wordsworth Drive.
A spokesperson commented; “We are investigating allegations that a visiting player was racially abused and beer from a glass was thrown on to the pitch. Our enquiries into the incidents are continuing.”
