People of Taunton have been invited to head down to the free-to-enter Fanzone, which will be open between Saturday 8 – Sunday 9 June in the town centre.
World Cup fever will hit Somerset on Saturday as Afghanistan and New Zealand clash at County Ground Taunton, and the Fanzone in Castle Green will be showing live screenings of all World Cup action over the weekend, along with live music, entertainment and food and drink from around the globe. North Street will host exciting street cricket activities for all to try!
The Fanzone will be showing England’s clash with Bangladesh on Saturday, as well as Afghanistan v New Zealand live from County Ground Taunton. On Sunday, the huge India v Australia match will be broadcast in the Fanzone.

*Screening begins once England v Bangladesh match ends

Please note: Alcohol will be served in the Fanzone, but spectators are not allowed to bring their own alcohol in. No glass, large flags, chairs or portable furniture are allowed to be brought into the Fanzone.
