Taunton Racecourse host the Bathwick Tyres Sunday Meeting on February 4th when the racecard boasts over £69k in prize money and the first of the action goes to post at 1.05pm.

The management is yet again indebted to Bathwick Tyres for their continued generous support of racing in the south-west.

First up is The Bathwick Tyres Bath Novices’ Hurdle Race over two miles and half a furlong which is followed 35 minutes later by The Bathwick Tyres Yeovil Handicap Hurdle which over three is the longest of the day, and is due off at 1.40pm.

The Bathwick Tyres Midsomer Norton Steeple Chase (A Novices’ Limited Handicap) is next over two miles and two furlongs, followed half an hour later by The Bathwick Tyres Taunton Handicap Hurdle, the first of the two Class 3 races on the card at 2.50pm.

The most valuable race of the day is The Bathwick Tyres Handicap Steeple Chase (Class 3) over two miles and seven furlongs which has a total race value of £16,200 and is due off at 3.25pm.

The action concludes with the Bathwick Tyres Bridgwater Conditional Jockey’s Handicap Hurdle Race over two miles three furlongs at 4pm..

A courtesy coach service departs from Taunton Railway Station two hours before the off and returns from the course 30 minutes after the start of the last race.
