Unexplained death not being treated as suspicious

Avon & Somerset Police have said that the death of a man in Taunton near Goodland Gardens is not being treated as suspicious.

The body of the man, in his 20s or 30s, was discovered on Tuesday morning (August 7).

A post mortem examination was carried out yesterday but a cause of death is yet to be determined.

The death is still being treated as unexplained but is no longer suspicious.

Two men have been questioned in relation to the death, and have been released while the investigation continues.

Next of kin have been informed but formal identification is yet to take place.
