A musical instrument business based in Taunton Deane has been recognisd at the World’s biggest music show.
John Packer Musical Instruments will be presented with the 2019 Believe in Music Award in recognition of their dedication to the Music Industry and encouraging music making at Winter NAMM 2019.
Company Director, Rob Hanson will be presented the award by Joe Lamond – the CEO of the world’s largest and most famous music show in Anaheim, California in January.
Rob said: “The NAMM show is an annual highlight for the company and widely respected. Being honoured by the organisation is incredibly humbling. At John Packer we’re driven to create a market for our brand and establish a successful global dealer network so we can deliver our instruments in all four corners. Being recognised for our efforts is testament to the hardwork and dedication of our team. As we continue to reach new markets, our range continues to grow; with marching brass instruments and also higher specification instruments.”
This award follows a string of success in 2018 for the company; receiving a Queen’s Award for International Enterprise; “Best Growth” at Taunton Deane Business Awards; a Product Excellence Award for the best-selling John Packer Smith-Watkins trumpet collaboration, the JP251SW; nominations for an MMR Dealer Choice Award for the Best Band & Orchestra Instrument line of the year; and Best Band & Orchestra Product of 2018, for the JP2057 sousaphone.
The company recently expanded into new premises where customers can browse the extensive range of instruments.
