Taunton mum goes back to School for charity

A Taunton mum of 4 who’s own mum recently got diagnosed with cancer has been turning negative into a positive after watching the Tv programme “Class of mum and dad” all in the name of charity.

Michelle Stark decided to speak to Mr Lake, her sons teacher and Mr Jones the Head teacher at Parkfield Primary School in Taunton to set in motion her going back to school!

Michelle commented; ” I thought what better way to raise money for charity than by going back to school for the day dressed in a school uniform and attending the class of Year 4 which my youngest son is in and doing the work the children will be doing throughout the day which includes P.E….”

Michelle is raising money for The Beacon Centre at Musgrove, Dementia and some funds will go to the school for allowing her to do this.

Afterwards Michelle told Tone FM that she had an amazing day in class. She did maths, French, English, science and hymn practice. We had lots of work to learn but I managed to keep up and  gained 3 house points for sitting nicely and doing good work… I was made to feel very welcome by Mr Lake and class of 4L. I was very nervous at the start of the day but fitted in nicely I even got asked by a Yr 6 if I was a new pupil…

So far Michelle has raised £1,405.00 and she is still counting. If you wish to donate anything plese see Michelle’s Just giving page www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/michelle-stark-going-back-to-school
