The Somerset Building Control Partnership held their annual Building Excellence Awards on Friday 26th January at a prestigious event at the Museum of Somerset in Taunton.
The event was attended by over 140 Architects, agents, builders, developers and property owners who gathered to celebrate building excellence across the local area authorities of Mendip, Sedgemoor, Taunton Deane and West Somerset during 2017.
All the projects from across the four Somerset districts were all eligible to take part in this highly respected annual Building Control Awards Scheme, and were judged on a range of criteria including compliance with the Building Regulations, accessibility and inclusive environment, sustainability, and customer satisfaction.

It is also testament to the excellent customer focussed approach the Partnership has with clients which ensures such high standards of construction”
The projects that received category wins or were highly commended will now be eligible to compete at the South West Regional LABC Awards in Plymouth during April.
