St. Modwen Homes launches brand new showhome

Award-winning housebuilder St Modwen Homes is opening the doors to its eagerly-awaited Langford Mills development in Norton Fitzwarren on Saturday 24th November.

Taking place between 12pm and 4pm, visitors to the event will be treated to fizz and canapes, whilst enjoying an exclusive first-look tour of the new three-bedroom Kea and four-bedroom Chichester showhomes. They will also be able to find out more about the new homes available, as well as incentives on offer to help get purchasers moving, such as the Government backed Help to Buy scheme and St. Modwen Homes’ Assisted Move scheme.

Located on the borders of the Somerset countryside in a delightful village setting, Langford Mills will comprise 227 stylish one to four-bedroom homes, which will form part of the larger regeneration of the former Taunton Trading Estate.

In addition to the new homes, St Modwen Homes is providing a 250 metre extension to the existing greenway; a popular foot and cycle path that will connect new homeowners to existing local facilities in the village. The development will also boast a children’s play area and picnic benches, as well as plenty of landscaped green spaces for residents to enjoy.

Gill Sabin, Sales and Marketing Director at St. Modwen Homes, said: “We’ve already received a high volume of enquiries about the new homes at Langford Mills, so we’re really excited to be opening the doors to the new showhome so everyone can see what a great new community this will be.

“The homes at Langford Mills are ideal for young professionals and growing families looking for a contemporary, spacious home which benefits from being in a laidback green setting, whilst still just three miles from Taunton town centre. Each of the properties will feature St Modwen Homes’ high quality design and specification throughout with our philosophy of ‘light and height’ in mind. We’d encourage anyone interested to come along on the 24th November to see for themselves!”

Langford Mills, off the B3227 in Taunton, is in an ideal location for access to the local motorway network, with Junction 25 of the M5 just four miles away. Other major routes such as the A38 and A358 are also within easy reach. Taunton Railway station is just two miles from Langford Mills and provides services to Bristol, Exeter and Plymouth.

For growing families, there’s a great selection of primary and secondary schools all within a few miles of the development, including Norton Fitzwarren Primary School, Staplegrove Church School and Bishops Hull Primary School, all rated as ‘Good’ by Ofsted. For older children, there’s Taunton School and North Town Academy.
