Somerset Libraries shortlisted for Digital 100 Awards

The Somerset Digital Skills Talent Academy, hosted by Glass Box, Somerset Libraries, has made the shortlist for the Digital 100 Awards Finalists.

Digital Leaders, the nationwide programme for promoting effective, long-term digital transformation across government, industry and charities, has today announced the finalists who make up the Digital Leaders 100 (DL100) list for 2019 and opened the public vote. The final list order and category winners will be announced at the DL100 Awards Dinner on 20 June 2019. To vote in the DL100 and find out more, go to: digileaders100.com.

The independent list recognises 100 people and organisations across the UK who are leading the way in digital transformation in all sectors. Out of 500 nominations from public sector bodies, 80 have been shortlisted, including Somerset Libraries.

“To be selected from over 500 public sector bodies is a fantastic achievement. The Digital Skills Talent Academy, hosted by the Glass Box at Taunton Library, aimed to inspire students with a series of interactive sessions over a 2 year period to explore opportunities for a potential future career in the Digital Industry, working with a number of partners.
