Emergency services were today (Monday 2nd) called to the M5 Northbound between J24-23 just after 11am.
Fire control received a request from Police control to attend the M5 motorway following reports of a multi vehicle accident.
3 fire appliances plus a special rescue tender were mobilised from Bridgwater and Taunton .
Upon arrival there were found to be a total of 9 vehicles involved although none were seriously damaged, no airbags had deployed and no persons were seriously injured or trapped.
On scene fire crews assisted the occupants from their vehicles to a place of safety and cordoned off lanes 2 and 3, they then set about making all vehicles involved safe.
