Avon and Somerset Police have this evening charged 52-year-old Martin Corns, of Denmark Terrace, Taunton, with murder.
He will appear at Taunton Deane Magistrates’ Court tomorrow (Friday, 23 February).
This is in relation to the death of Heather Jordan, aged 34, whose body was discovered in Lyngford Park in the town on Sunday morning.
Police officers continue to provide reassurance patrols in the area.
