Students graduate from the first weeks wellbeing course

Limited places left on weeks to wellbeing course

Weeks to Wellbeing is held at Compass Wellbeing on Belvedere Trading Estate in centre of Taunton. This specially designed course was for 18 – 25 year olds that are living with any form of disability, long term health condition, learning disability or mental health issue.

The course consisted of mindfulness, healthy eating, active living, online safety and independent living skills.  The 16 week course is free of charge to attend, the last course was a huge success.

Justine Clayton, Activity Coordinator said, “This course made such a difference to the young people that attended it, they made new friends, their confidence grew and they learnt a lot of life skills.  We have only 4 places left on the next course which starts here in Taunton at Compass Wellbeing on 29th August.  If you know of any young person would benefit from this free course please get in touch”

Louise Wright, mother of one of the students who attended the course commented, “When I asked my son what did he gain from this course his reply was lots of stuff and it was brilliant! From a parents point of view he wanted to come every week and has taken more responsibility in organising his time. . He is far more confident and we saw this grow during the courst.  When he is getting stressed we can help him do some mindfulness which helps all of us. Thank you to the team for putting on such a worthwhile programme.”
