On the 14th July 2017, Richard Huish College will be hosting a celebration event to mark the official opening of their Sycamore Sports Hall.
The new sports hall includes a full sized multi sports arena, including a spacious viewing gallery with seating for 100 spectators, changing facilities, a gym and dedicated classrooms. The courts are said to be one of the best in the country with state-of-the-art camera technology, used for performance analysis.
Huish are inviting governors, staff from local schools and local sporting bodies to join them for the event where they hope to not only showcase the facility but be able to celebrate sport is Somerset. On the same day they will also have about 400 primary school children joining us for our ‘Believe in Yourself’ event, a fun filled day of challenges with a central theme of promoting self-esteem and acceptance.
