POLICE are seeking the public’s help following the theft of silverware from a property in the Taunton area of West Somerset.
The burglary happened on 30 March in Corfe.
Intruders entered the property and took a handbag and various items of family silver (pictured).
The silver is all marked with the family crest (shown on the ring). Police are urging antique and second-hand shops to be vigilant and look out for the items.
Police are also interested in hearing from the driver of a white Ford Transit tipper van, which is thought to have been in the area at the time (between 12-2pm). It is reported to have had signwriting on it.
