The Halcon Centre held their annual summer BBQ on Friday 14th July.
The event was well attended by clients, their families, staff and friends, who all enjoyed an assortment of
delicious food and drink.
Being a respite centre means that clients will visit for a short respite stays at different times in the year. The BBQ is the perfect opportunity for clients to gather together to catch up and swap stories.
A prize raffle was held, which raised £286 for the amenities fund, which goes towards organising trips out and entertainment for the clients.
Speaking on the event, Manager, Kevin Mellor said: “I would like to thank everyone who was able to join us at our annual BBQ. Once again, it’s been a great success and I would like to thank my staff who have worked to organise this.”
