The Freewheelers EVS blood bikes need your vote!
They hope to generate enough votes to win £30k and buy two new specialist blood bikes for their free life saving service they operate.
The Emergency Volunteer Service has been nominated in the ITV West Country and National Lottery Peoples Projects and are one of 5 nominations in the region.
They would like to encourage anyone with an email to vote for then. It simply requires a name, email, contact number and postcode.
A Trustee of the service commented; “The funding if we win will purchase two new bikes for our service which will help further develop the great working relationship we already have between Freewheelers blood bikes and both Wiltshire and the Great Western air ambulance charities for critical care capability at the roadside and also allow us to continue to deliver our free life saving service to the wider community we serve every night of the year and 24 hours over weekends and bank holidays.”
The network covers the Southwest by having region groups Avon & Somerset and Devon and Cornwall. This vote is for Avon and Somerset to win two new bikes.
