May bank holidays bring waste day changes

Easter waste collections update

Every household in Somerset will have Easter waste collection day changes, with pick-ups due on Good Friday 19th April taking place from 7am on Saturday 20th April.

No collections on Easter Monday 22nd April mean all that week’s kerbside services will be one day later, including Friday pick-ups from 7am on Saturday 27th April.

All recycling sites remain on their new summer schedules, with 10 sites open 9am to 6pm on Good Friday 19th April: Bridgwater, Chard, Frome, Highbridge, Minehead, Somerton, Taunton, Wellington, Wells and Yeovil.

All 16 recycling sites are open 9am to 4pm on both Easter Saturday and Easter Sunday.

Twelve recycling sites are open 9am to 6pm on Easter Monday: Bridgwater, Castle Cary, Chard, Cheddar, Crewkerne (£2 cash entry), Frome, Minehead, Street, Taunton, Wells, Williton and Yeovil.
