County Cricket call ups for Taunton School players

Squads for the Somerset County Cricket boys and girls teams have been confirmed with 13 players from Taunton School making the selection.

They are, from Taunton Senior School, Cameron Harding, Tom Walsh, Oscar Samuel and Anna Parkinson (Under 17s) Henry Weatherill (Under 15s) and Ben Chaffey (Under 14s). Those selected from Taunton Preparatory School are Ollie Heard and Georgia-Bella Kingwell (Under 13s), Alex Chaffey (Under 12s), Thomas Ford, Kian Roberts and Cole Willoughby (Under 11s) and Oscar Coleman (Under 10s).

Many of the matches they will play take place at Taunton School.

Pete Sanderson, Director of Cricket at Taunton School, said: “It is great credit to the players that have retained their places as the talent levels in these squads are very high. I am sure they will represent the school and themselves well during these matches.”
