Taunton Deane CCTV operators have again demonstrated the value of their work in apprehending three suspected burglars of a jewellery shop in Fore Street, Taunton, on Friday May 12.
Without their work, a high value theft would have occurred and potentially the would-be thieves would have escaped justice. As a result of their diligence and the prompt response from the Police, these three have been taken off the streets.
A spokesman for Taunton Deane Borough Council said: “This once again shows the skill of our CCTV operators and the value of genuine partnership working between CCTV and the Police, as well as with Sedgemoor District Council. As a council, we commend them all for work and swift response in bringing this matter swiftly to justice.”
