Five vehicles were damaged in Enmore Road, one in Cheddon Road, a window was smashed in Wellsprings Road and a moped was stolen and set alight in Wellsprings.

Witnesses have described seeing four people walking down the road at around that time and we’re keen for them to come forward.

PC 2270 Stephen Linton said: “We’ve carried out house to house and CCTV enquiries in the area but are keen to hear from anyone else who could help. We’re grateful to the witnesses who have given us information, but I’d always urge people who see offences like this to report them straight away by calling 999.”

Anyone with any information which could help the investigation is asked to get in touch through or by calling 101, quoting reference 5218097356.

Alternatively ring the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111. They never ask your name or trace your call. You could even qualify for a reward and still remain anonymous.
