Appeal for help to find saddles stolen from livery

Avon & Somerset Police are appealing for members of the public to be vigilant for saddles, which have been stolen from a livery stable in West Somerset.

The 14 high value saddles were taken from the Combe Florey area near Taunton between 9pm on 9th November and 6am on 10th November.

Two of the saddles taken are described as a 16.5-inch and 17inch Wintec brown synthetic saddles.

The 16.5 inch saddle has a suede seat and the 17-inch saddle scuff marks on the back.

A black sparkle trimmed numnah (saddle blanket/pad) was also taken.

A Police spokesperson commented; “We’re keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident who may have information to help our enquiries. We think a vehicle may have been used to remove the items and would welcome any dashcam footage that anyone might have which would help our investigation.”

Anyone able to help is asked to contact 101, quoting 5218250414
