Father Christmas as well as Mother Christmas will be taking up residence at Langford Lakes Christmas Tree Farm from November 30 with donations going to Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW).
Nick Hendy from Langford Lakes Christmas Tree Farm, which is based at Middle Hill Farm in Langford Budville, said: “We’re delighted this year to have Father Christmas and Mother Christmas with us on certain days in the run up to Christmas.
“Each child who visits Father or Mother Christmas will be given an age appropriate gift and parents/guardians are welcome to take photos of their child during the visit.
“All we ask in return for a visit is that a donation is made to our Charity of the Year – CHSW. All donations are welcome and can be dropped in to our collection box in the shop.
“Father Christmas will be with us for two of our late-night open evenings on Friday, November 30 and Friday, December 7 from 4pm until 8pm.
“Father Christmas and Mother Christmas will then be in at certain times on three weekends in the run up to Christmas – December 1, 2, 8, 9, 15 and 16.”
On Saturday, December 1 and Sunday, December 2, Father Christmas will be at Langford Lakes from 10am until 1.30pm and Mother Christmas will be making an appearance from 12.30pm until 4pm. On Saturday, December 8 again Father Christmas will be at the farm from 10am until 1.30pm and Mother Christmas will be there from 12.30pm until 4pm.
On Sunday, December 9 and Sunday, December 16 Father Christmas will be at the Christmas shop from 10am until 4pm and on Saturday, December 15 Mother Christmas will be present from 10am until 4pm.
CHSW is currently the only provider of specialist hospice care for children in the region.
