Concert with the Southern Sinfonia

This is a concert not to be missed. Rachmaninov’s stunning piano concerto No 2 is played by the world class pianist Peter Donohoe along with the Southern Sinfonia orchestra.
Also included in the programme is Bernstein’s exuberant ‘Overture to Candide’ and Britten’s Soirees Musicales – five pieces written for ballet. The evening will finish with the Copland’s jubilant Appalachian Spring.
