A Gala Night at the Opera

Following on from last year’s hugely successful Masked Ball concerts, Crowcombe Court is delighted to welcome back the opera singer and writer Martin Lamb. Martin is not only a hugely experienced principal soloist, with roles at English National Opera, Scottish Opera and many others, but is also gaining an increasing reputation as a writer and producer of a range of music and theatre. This July, for Crowcombe Court, he will be putting together a programme of operatic Heroes and Villains.

Enjoy a picnic in the grounds of Crowcombe Court before moving into the atmospheric Great Hall to hear a wide range of classical arias and ensembles, some instantly recognisable, and some which promise more novelty than a run-of-the-mill opera gala, performed by a first class cast of professional British soloists accompanied by a baby grand piano.
