Taunton Deane Business Awards 2017

And the winners are . . .

200 people turned out for an evening of celebration as Taunton Deane’s second Business Awards reached their climax. The black tie awards ceremony was held at Somerset County Cricket ground on election night, 8th June, and the house was full and celebrating success.

And the winners are . . .

This year there were 10 hotly contested awards, all sponsored by local businesses. PKF Francis Clark and Taunton Deane Borough Council were main event sponsors.

Pam Knight from event organisers, White Knight Marketing said: “Tickets for the event sold out very quickly this year showing the great enthusiasm for this awards ceremony. With 10 categories to choose from we had a healthy number of Taunton Deane based businesses vying for a place in our finals.”

“We were extremely proud to have been associated for the second year running with this fabulous initiative. Singling out the winners from amongst our fellow Taunton based businesses is always a challenge; we clearly have many excellent companies in this region making our jobs very hard,” said Martin Lock, spokesman and partner at PKF Francis Clark.

Taunton Deane Borough Council also got behind the awards for the second year.

“We are very happy to work with the local business community to celebrate the really positive work that occurs in Taunton Deane. This is a positive base for businesses to build on over the next few years,“ said council spokesman David Evans.
